Metal Solidification Project (ITMATI-C3-2013, ITMATI-C42-2013)

The project consisted on mathematical modelling o the heat transfer phenomena than occurs in the metal solidification in molds and in the subsequent   heat and metallurgical treatment of the mettle of bearings and ball bearing manufactured in grey and modular melting.

Testimony of the company: “The numerical simulation has great advantages over experimental testing, thereby reducing material cost and energy and, in general, associated with  final product quality” (Fundiciones Rey).
