PROJECT: JOINT RESEARCH UNIT (JRU) REPSOL-ITMATI
 

 

CALL: Procurement under the resolution of 6 October 2014 amending the aid research institutions of Galicia for the creation, implementation and promotion of joint research units awarded. This call is funded by the Galician Research Agency itself and the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness under the Spanish Innovation Strategy in Galicia.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION: 1 contract as a researcher for the Joint Research Unit (UMI) REPSOL-ITMATI full time.

The research lines of the Joint Unit (UMI) are related to the development of mathematical and computational techniques to solve numerical simulation and optimization of large size and complexity that arise in the Energy Sector. Staff who joins in this call made research work in some of the research areas to be developed in the UMI: fluids numerical simulation and FPGAs programming.

SCIENTIFIC DIRECTOR OF THE JOINT RESEARCH UNIT: Professor Dr. Alfredo Bermudez de Castro López-Varela, Professor of Applied Mathematics at the University of Santiago de Compostela, and affiliated researcher of ITMATI.
 

CHIEF SCIENTIF OF THE RESEARCH LINE IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE PROJECT: Prof. Dor. D. Francisco José  Pena Brage, Associate Professor of the University of Santiago de Compostela and affiliated researcher of ITMATI.
 

CANDIDATE PROFILE: Doctors / as related to Mathematics, Physics, Engineering and Computing.
