European Study Groups with Industry / Consultation Workshops
These workshops seek to bring together businesses and institutions with an interest in mathematical technology developed by ITMATI. Our objectives are:

The promotion of mathematics in the business environment, actively seeking research and
development projects where mathematics has a special relevance. - The intensification of R&D collaboration between our researchers and related industries.
- Updating our research areas.
To these ends, we actively seek industrial problems that can be treated with mathematical methods in the areas of applied mathematics, for example statistics or operational research.
European Study Group with Industry
Initiated in Oxford in 1968, Study Groups with Industry provide a forum for industrial scientists to work alongside academic mathematicians on problems of direct industrial relevance. They are an internationally recognized method of technology and knowledge transfer between academic mathematicians and industry, usually lasting one week.

Consultation workshops
Consultation workshops for companies and institutions carried out during 2012:
The 5th workshop on mathematics for companies and institutions were conducted in collaboration with the math-in network (a Spanish network of Industrial mathematics) and the Technological Institute of Industrial Mathematics (ITMATI) and were funded by the Spanish Science and Technology Foundation - Ministry of Economy and Competitivity. 
All these sessions are a continuation of those initiated by the Cesga Node in the i-MATH project, which have been held annually since 2008. Minutes of the previous four meetings are available on the CESGA Node website.
