Amable Liñan, elected member of the National Academy of Engineering in USA

The National Academy of Engineering (NAE) has announced the addition US as a new foreign member of , the Spanish aeronautical engineer and professor emeritus at the UPM Amable Liñán for "his contributions to the advancement of engineering and, specifically, their findings in the combustion field using asymptotic analysis. "

Considered the best theoretician in the field of combustion, this Professor of Fluid Mechanics ETSI Aeronautics and Space is also Doctor Honoris Causa by the USC. He also participated as an academic specialist at  97ESGI (European Study Group with Industry) held in Galicia in November 2013 in collaboration with ITMATI and math-in. He also participated in the Workshop of Industry Days, organized for the visit to ITMATI the Norwegian Industrial Research Institute Teknova-AS.
