On November 7, 2014 it took place in the Faculty of Mathematics of Santiago de Compostela the “Kick-off Meeting Joint Research Unit (JRU) ITMATI-Repsol”. The working day took place troughout the day that representatives of both entities were meeting, both Repsol and ITMATI as well as the Scientific Director of the JRU and the coordinators of the different lines of research.

On January 22, 2015, Johan Jansson, BCAM Researcher, visited ITMATI to give the Conference “FEniCS-HPC”. This conference is framed as activity on the Joint Research Unit ITMATI-Repsol.

Joint Research Unit Researchers Presentation: Once all researchers in the JRU were incorporated, On January 28, 2015, took place in the Hall of Xuntas of the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Santiago de Compostela a working session that was attended by members of Repsol CTR linked to the Joint Unit and UMI researchers. At this meeting, the objectives of Repsol in relation to the JRU, and the content of the research were treated.
