97 European Study Groups for Industry

11-14 November 2013 will be held in Santiago de Compostela on 97 European Study Group for Industry, thanks to the collaboration between Technological Institute for Industrial Mathematics (ITMATI) and Spanish Industry Mathematics Network (math-in), and received funding through a project with the Norwegian government.

The problems presented and the companies involved in this new edition are:

  • Electric Scale up for a carbothermic Al-process | Teknova AS and Alcoa Norway ANS. (field of knowledge: thermoelectric).
  • Process models for the production of Microalumina |Teknova AS and Elkem AS Silicon Materials. (field of knowledge: combustion).
  • Designing an optimal network measurement sensors for monitoring geographical renewable resource | Centro Nacional de Energías Renovables (CENER)
