Minisymposia

At CTMI 2019 there will held five minisymposia, one of them will be of Awards. A minisymposia normally consists of 3 short talks (30 min.) connected with a specific subject. The organization of each minisymposia, its subjects and talks will be proposed and invited by the Scientific Committee.

• MS1: "Mathematics of Logistics: emerging trends in Optimization and Simulation modelling". Coordinator: Dr. Anna Melchiori PhD, Researcher in Optimization and Operational Research, Institute for Application of Calculus “Mauro Picone”, National Research Council of Italy.
• MS2: "Successful examples of industry-academia collaboration in the energy sector". Coordinator: Elena Núñez Domingo, Senior Scientific in Advanced Mathematics Division at Repsol Technology Lab.
• MS3: "Industrial Mathematics in Action". Coordinators: Edie Miglio, Luca Formaggia, Nicola Parolini. All the organizers are from MOX, Deparment of Mathematics, Politecnico de Milano.  
• MS4: Math-in awards & math-in | Repsol award for outstanding Phd and Msc thesis in Industrial Mathematics.
• MS5: Mathematics and Data Analytics. Coordinator: Ricardo Cao Abad. Instituto Tecnológico de Matemática Industrial (ITMATI) and Universidade de A Coruña (UDC).
