Graduates in Mathematics and Statistics were the professionals with a higher employment rate in 2015, according to the latest Labor Force Survey (LFS). Their profile is increasingly demanded by companies, because as Ms. Peregrina Quintela (Director of ITMATI) says:  are a "versatile worker who thoroughly analyzes the pros and cons, using more structured methodologies and whose decisions are based on criteria objectives".

In addition, "they are increasingly more and more collaboration between companies and knowledge centers" says Peregrina Quintela. It remarkable the work of research centers as ITMATI, diseminating about mathematics, thanks to the transversally of Mathematics.
