Researcher for project on "Modelling and optimization of gas transport networks" (part-time)

JOB OFFER: ITMATI-OT-03/2014

ACTIVITY TITLE: “Modelling and optimization of gas transport networks”.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Research position under the contract between ITMATI and a company of the energy sector.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• Carry out the 2nd phase for the implementation of a system to catalogue databases using MySQL.
• Using Python, integration of the database with a graphic interface based in Quantum GIS.

• Apoyo en otras tareas puntuales ligadas a la gestión y mantenimiento del software propio de modelización y optimización GANESO.
• Support in other specific tasks related to the management and maintenance of the GANESO software.

Starting date: from 4th of August to 1st September. Disponibility to start on 4th August will be taken into account when selecting the applicant.

APPLICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

• Academic transcripts (BSc & MSc in Industrial Mathematics, computer science or similar).
• Knowledge of programming, especially on Python and databases (MySQL).
