ECMI 2014 "The 18 th European Conference on Mathematics for Industry"
The conference will focus on various aspects of industrial and applied mathematics, such as Aerospace, Information and Communication, Energy, Imaging, Biology and Biotechnology, Finance, Education. Specific topics will include, among others:
- Mathematical models in life science,
- Material science and semiconductors,
- Mathematical methods in environment,
- Desing automation and industrial applications,
- Computational finance.
At ECMI 2014 there will be several parallel mini-symposia on specific topics related to industrial mathematics . A minisymposium normally consists of 4-6 short talks (30-20 min) connected with the specific subject. In order to submit a minisymposium proposal, please provide the following information:
- Title of the minisymposium
- Name, affiliation and contact information of the organizer(s)
- Short description
- Motivation/Relevance to ECMI
- Tentative list of speakers
- Industrial participation (if avalaible)
The final selection of mini-symposia will be based on scientific excellence, industrial relevance, impact on ECMI and quality of confirmed/proposed speakers. The Mini-symposium proposal must be submitted through the ECMI EasyChair web page: https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ecmi2014 no later than December 15, 2013.
